The 2019 State Employer Needs and Practices Survey is being conducted by the state’s Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board (the Workforce Board), with the support of the Association of Washington Business and the Washington Chamber of Commerce Executives.
Who Is Being Asked To Respond
Businesses across the state were randomly selected for participation to find out more about hiring and training needs.
Participation will shape training and education policies and programs both locally and statewide. We want to know if the state’s workforce system is meeting business needs.
Participation will help identify
· If your employees need new training or updated skills
· Which skills/competencies are most important to the success of your business
· What types of training are needed to meet your business needs
· What challenges you face in hiring--and retaining—key employees
· How we can help your business grow and thrive
